Our aim is to provide support for special needs children in the SO postcode area. To date we have provided sensory equipment, wet room equipment, a hoist, converted a manual wheelchair to a motorised one, paid for medical assessments that aren't available on the NHS and many other benefits for the families.
It's not just about the material things, we provide a support network, so families can feel part of a great band of people. We arrange days for the whole family to participate in, and hopefully they enjoy it as much as we do.
We are a totally voluntarily run charity. The only money taken out of donations is used for collection pots, stationery etc, we have to speculate to accumulate. Every other penny goes to helping the children.

So how do we choose the children/groups that we support??
Throughout the year we ask our supporters to let us know of any children that may be in need of our support. Whether its for equipment - boost pack for manual wheelchair, specialist seating - specialist clothing - supportive comfortable seating, sensory toys/equipment, therapy or more.
We then gather information from the families and start to look into what we can do to help and how to source items before having committee meetings to discuss who we should choose for the next 12 months.
The decisions are never taken lightly and we aim to help everyone where possible.
If you know of a child/group who could do with our help please contact us on [email protected]
